Lotus may return to F1 - but only with Supertec -

Grand Prix boss Bernie Ecclestone has offered to let the Lotus
name back into Formula 1 as long as the team uses Supertec
engines, according to rumours.
It is claimed that Team Lotus boss David Hunt has met with
Ecclestone. They are said to have discussed Team Lotus filling the
vacant slot on left on the F1 grid after Honda abandoned their
plans to field a factory team.
Hunt bought the Team Lotus name when the team crashed out of
F1 with financial troubles in 1994. He is said to have access to the
necessary finance to set up a team.
